The Regiment represents the period of 1881, a time of great change in the British Army with the Cardwell Reforms taking place.

Our members are looking forward to presenting an historically acurate representation that will allow us to attend period re-enactment events, public displays and the opportunity to devote time and effort on behalf of military related charities.

It is also hoped that families will become involved with the ladies dressing up in the period fashion as well as children and non firers taking on roles such as drummers and fifers, camp followers and cooks etc.

The Regiment has been given permission to train at the Army Museum in Aldershot where it will support the museum in its promotional activities.
